"we're all in this together" has been regularly used by ivory tower academics and elitist rich celebrities. They tweet from their personal tennis courts or million dollar mansions, and they shame the common man who lost their jobs and face hunger, as just wanting to go to...
Applebee's. Or they look down on them for "just wanting to get a haircut" while they have their live-in beautician keep them powdered.

Now they pretend to be just like us as they try to convince people to vote for the corporate establishment candidate who wants to lock us back..
down. Now I actually fared alright this year, but I weep for friends and family who have not, both financially and mentally; and for my aunt who died alone in a nursing home.

With all that said, I do feel like there is a small but growing group of people around...
the world who really is in this together. Team Reality, anti-lockdowners, anti-totalitarians; whatever we should be called really are in this together. Some of us have struggled much more than others, but there is a real community feel. Never in my life have I been so informed...
on the politics and goings on in countries all over the world. I sympathize with those in the UK, France, and Germany and other places going back into lockdown. I support the protestors in Italy. I'm thankful of the data junkies and credentialed scientists who fight the uphill...
battle against the tidal wave of group think and outright evil lack of empathy of the fear mongers. Most of all, I worry about the people of the developing world where lockdowns are a death sentence.

I'm certain that the people who support lockdowns are not in this with us...
Most of them are cushioned financially and live in a bubble and don't have the slightest clue what it even means to be "in this"

Then again there are some members of team Reality who are doing ok as well, but are fully developed humans with empathy.
For those of us who fight the good fight, from Melbourne to Paris, from London to to Los Angeles, from New York to Cape Town, from Lima to Berlin, and from Mumbai to Dublin; were all in this together.
