You may have seen graphs purporting to show that men and women have the same average IQ but men have a greater variance, ergo more geniuses but also more dummies. Did you know that this is wrong and men actually have higher average IQ than women?

This data comes from tests assessing pre-adolescent boys and girls, who undergo peak brain development at different stages.
When we look at studies with sample groups that includes adolescent up to the age of 16, this trend disappears and gives way to separate overlapping distributions with a clear male advantage.

By the time we get to the suspiciously lesser-known studies which assess fully developed adults we see a very clear distinction difference in average IQ with an even greater male advantage.

And believe it or not, these results are actually in spite of the fact that IQ tests are constructed with intentional bias, which favor women, by eliminating or reducing items like the mental rotation test and reaction time tests in which men score higher.
This should be no surprise to anyone, since it’s well established that brain matter correlates with IQ within the same species and men have brains that have 10% more mass than women’s brain.
