The State of the Jujutsu World with Gojo (and w/o Gojo)(Thread)(School):
The Jujutsu world is ruled by an Oligarchy of sorts, where a small group of individuals holds immense power and authority.

Gojo has pointed out this group of people to be the Elders and Higher Ups of the Jujutsu World.
This authority has allowed the Elders to remove, kill, or execute anyone they deem a threat to their traditions or status as overseers without any repercussions or resistance.
As with all groups of power, there comes a time where they are challenged. Ch 96 emphasizes Gojo's birth shifting the balance between curses and sorcerers, but it could be a shift between sorcerers and those in power.

From a young age to now, Gojo is seen rejecting tradition.
Gojo's existence as both the strongest sorcerer and a special grade creates a conundrum amongst the Elders. Special grade sorcerers are unchecked powers with near-absolute free will compared to their 1st grade and lower allies, but to be the strongest amongst that unchecked power
means Gojo is the one above all and his words/decisions hold more weight than anyone in their world. He could kill all of the Elders and forge the Jujutsu World in his image, but then that would make him no better than the Elders. Instead, he opts for educating those below him.
Through education, he will be able to produce strong and intelligent allies, who will be just as opposed to those Elders and eventually will topple their power structure as a whole.

He is the greatest equalizer/overbearing force in the series on both sides of the Jujutsu world.
Now with his sealing, the sorcerers who are not in power face a battle on three fronts. Vs the curses, sorcerers not allied with the schools and the school's Elders themselves. People protected by Gojo will once again become targets for removal and all deals compromised because
of Gojo will be broken and dealt with the utmost urgency. As the school, higher-ups, and elders seek to show full authority upon the sorcerers...will there be any sorcerers capable of embodying Gojo's teachings or beliefs?
I believe Gojo's fight against the higherups will be picked up right away by the students after Shibuya. The students know most of Gojo's efforts to preserve their youth and free will, and I think they'll honor him.
That's the end of the thread, but here some stuff to think about post-Shibuya

Will Megumi regret his plea to Gojo to save Yuji?

Will Yuta, someone protected by Gojo, step-up as the middleman between sorcerers and the higher-ups?

How will the Elders assert their power w/o Gojo?
