Here's something that may come as a welcome distraction today:
When I first saw Iron Man 3 back in 2013, it was my least favorite Iron Man movie.
Having watched all three over the past week.... it might just be my favorite now.

It's interesting how life experiences change your perception of media. When I saw IM3 in 2013, I has just graduated college. It was a huge turning point in my life; I was in the process of changing my beliefs on a huge number of things...
...and it was right as I was starting to read LessWrong, Kahneman, and Ariely's works. I was obsessed with rationality and decision making.
Through that lens, I watched IM3 with confusion. I couldn't understand why Tony made such "dumb" decisions. It made me dislike the movie.

7 years later, I've now had some experience with anxiety - which has allowed me to better understand and empathize with his character in the movie. When the movie released, I didn't have the life experienced required to appreciate it.
