THE US ELECTIONS AND THE RAGING UNDERCURRENTS WITHIN

a thread;

Note: you may not care about who the next president will be, but a power shift might happen sooner than you think and this will affect you no matter where you are

This is my opinion on how that might happen

(1)
If I were to describe the US in one word, then that word is DIVIDED

The votes are near equal and the implications are this

If trump gets a lead, the democrats will cry

If biden gets a lead , the Republicans will be recalcitrant to the results like trump is now

(2)
To be honest, I would prefer Trump

Mainly because of his anti-chinese policies

Don't get me wrong, I love chinese prodcts- I can read a chinese novel for 8 hours straight

But china is getting a little too strong for comfort at the moment

Regardless, Let's go back for now.
What will follow is internal strife: the US is surrounded by rivals and frienemies division is the last thing it needs

Rome fell not because of the barbarians, but the internal strife and arrogance that let those barbarians in, in the first place

(3)
And it doesn't help that this year, and the recent ones are tenser than normal

The terrorist attacks are suspiciously gone

Saudi is quiet, and so is turkey, japan, france, iran etc.

But most importantly, china and Russia

Are eerily quiet.

(4)
Maybe they're not, but the noise of the dumb masses overwhelm the others, and that isnt good for america

Now china... is a little bit too powerful

They have built their asian silk road,

Made 'friends' with a ton of countries,

Is rich,

But most importantly, is UNITED

(5)
This is evident in their (successful) efforts to minimize blame in covid,

and a lot of other things like the claiming of the west philippine sea (my country btw)

They have little internal strife: an innate advantage of communism in general

What does this mean?

(6)
It means that Russia is the deciding factor of this farce

Do you think Russia and China are chummies?

NO. They, and america, are rivals deep within.

'Allies' in the outside pull political plays on each other from behind

While 'rivals' trade as they badmouth one another
(7)
the US and UK were best friends in WW2

but the amount of politics and treachery in the aftermaths via the Bretton-Woods

The common mind cannot fathom.

The US and China are vocal enemies of one another

Yet america is still the biggest trading partner of china

(8)
The only reason why the soviets and china 'allied'

Was because the west was too strong, not because they loved one another

So russia might as well ally with the US from behind

Putin is a friend... For now

There's no such thing as an ally or enemy;

Only benefits.

(9)
Putin is a friend... For now

But why wouldn't they help china get rid of the US?

It's not that simple.

The US is not as strong, but it is by no means weak.

They can't just attack from both sides and divide the cake

If so, then russia will be the next target

Unideal.

(10)
But if Russia fails

Then the world will soon be led by China

And I wouldn't like someone known for killing off the minorities of his country as my beloved leader

All these other countries Turkey, France, Iran, Saudi, Japan, the UK, etc

are furtively watching.

(11)
This is the gravity of the situation we are in,

And the elections and the consequential instability it brings might as well be the catalyst to change a lot of things

Don't care who wins, but being united, like the name of the country itself

Will bring more peace upon everyone
