African-centered or Afrocentric education can exists in home school, a classroom, charter, private or even some completely public environments
ACE education has a foundation in African principles
Many schools use MAAT or the Nguzo Saba to set their mission, values, rules & goals

Any subject matter can be taught me in an Afrocentric fashion, even when the content is not specifically about Black people.
However, depending on how well versed u are in history, the deeper u dig the Blacker info gets. Including info in science & math. Chem-Black Chemistry

Part of creating an Afrocentric environment is aesthetics. It may seem superficial at first, but it is important for us to have positive African symbols, pictures, people, quotes & other positive symbolism throughout the environment. Things students can look at & lean about us.
Afrocentric edu is about telling our own stories & seeing things from our own cultural perspective
Make sure that authors of the books they're reading & producers and videos they watch are positive Black voices
History should be a space for our ancestors to teach in their words

Educators at ACE schools should also be Afrocentric (seems obvious but you'd be surprised)
To begin to teach our children about gaining knowledge of self, they should have it themselves
That would allow them to bring their own journey into the classroom & teach what they learned

Lessons & goals should be focused on what students need, what will help in their growth, what they lack in their communities & also reflect the various learning styles
Teachers lesson should reflect student needs
Be adaptable

Extracurricular activities should be focused in African culture too.
African dance, spoken word, African Lit, drumming, African games, Step & social groups based on African traditional groups/people/ideas
