This is purely anecdotal so just take this as my personal experience.

I knocked 1000s of doors in the south (GA, AL, SC) in primarily Black neighborhoods during the primary. The conversations were interesting because it always came down to pretty much the same thing.
1) Black folks loved what Warren and Sanders had to say. The message did resonate.

2) Black folks were saying they were NOT going to vote for either one of them because they didn't think either of them would win against Trump even if they liked them.
3) The folks Black folks I talked to in GA were waiting to see what SC was going to do. Many said they would vote for whoever came out victorious in SC - Liz, Bernard, or Pete. But it was Biden.
4) Many of the voters seemed to be voting "strategically" instead of who they liked most. Most of them expressed they would be perfectly fine with voting for someone other than Biden *if* they thought they could win against Trump. But after SC, their minds were pretty set.
