Here's a thread of 10 fun crow facts you need

#1 although uncommon, reverse mounting (where females mount their male partner) does happen. In fact at the Cleavland NHM staff had to give their female educational crow a stern talking to because she would not give her mate a break!
#2 the largest crow roost in the US held over 300,000 birds!
#3 there are two official species of crows in North America including the American crow and the fish crow, but reports indicate a small breeding group of house crows in Florida as well. đź“· David Laliberte
#4 crow and raven interactions are most often aggressive, and crows are much more likely to be the aggressor! This is because in areas where they overlap, ravens are important nest predators of crows.
#5 crows are what we call a partial migratory species. Populations in the northern parts of the range (northern Canada) move south, but southern populations typically hang out year round.

Most choose to migrate by flying, but bike sharing has also become increasingly popular
#6 while crows don't seem to be able to count like us (1,2,3...etc.) they do have numerical competency and can understand things like whether two quantities are the same or different.
#7 crows & ravens appear to be pretty bad at recognizing themselves in mirrors, which is why they sometimes go after windows and car mirrors. BUT interestingly, New Caledonian crows do seem to understand the properties of a mirror and that it reflects things happening behind them
#8 speaking of New Caledonian crows, they are one of only a few animals that can infer the properties of an object (specifically, its relative weight) by watching how that object behaves in the wind.
#9 Large-billed crows may not know exactly what you're saying, but a recent study suggest that they know when they're hearing an unfamiliar human language.

#10 and finally, in 1987, a pair of fish crows adopted (or were adopted by) and fed a fledgling blue jay for about two weeks before it eventually disappeared.
