News anchors are calling Trump pathetic now because it is safe to do so but they should have been doing this the entire time. The reaction we are seeing to tonight's Trump meltdown is the media reaction we should have been getting all along. It's been a trainwreck from day one.
Networks should have been cutting him off just like they did tonight for the last 4 years. He is a dangerous cancer to this country and letting him have as much attention as he has had thus far has done so much damage to the US.
The whole reason we ended up with Trump in the first place is because equal or even more attention was given to his sensationalism instead of real Republican candidates in the 2016 GOP primaries... maybe because it made for good TV. I hope the US has learned its lesson.
Democracy is not entertainment. People's lives are at stake. Hundreds of thousands are dead because of this massive mistake.
