2. Black voters. We are formidable. Once again, *we* have demonstrated a commitment to a vision of America not yet realized. I can only hope that the Black voters in GA work hard to make Abrams their next governor.
3. The DNC is a relic. Bless them. If it hopes to survive, it must look at the model that transformed GA—a model of deep organizing and coalition building with *principled/loving* Black ppl leading.
4. Trumpism is growing *still* bc it is *rooted* in white supremacy and racism. Be clear, unity doesn’t come bc we ignore the elephant in the room. Unity comes bc we do the work to confront *it* and shift away from *it*.
5. Finally, we owe our grassroots Black organizers—in every city and state that went overwhelming Blue—a debt. Thank you for seeing what is often unseen by operatives, pundits and party leadership. Thank you for acknowledging the complexity of choosing survival.
6. These patriots acknowledged that supporting an imperfect neo-liberal candidate was the hand they were dealt and decided they’d rather fight him for equity than the current racist, fascist president.
