I was reading Science magazine last night.
An article there about the genetics of the pandemic. There were two outbreaks of Covid-19, in Washington and California, that were snuffed out. They came from China. The rest of what we have comes from Europe.

We could have snuffed out the later outbreaks, too, if the states had had more help from the federal government. If there had been a consistent public health message, rather than Trump's wish-fulfillment fantasies.

Biden has a team that can handle the pandemic. It's much more difficult now than it was in March. I hope there is some way that they can begin immediately. Exponential increase is nasty.

By the time these little guys bloom again, we'll be seeing progress. Maybe before then.
