Here in Georgia we just elected the first woman to ever represent Georgia’s 7th congressional district. Right now, it’s the only dem pickup in the country (fingers crossed for other races) I want to highlight the work of this awesome, diverse, and talented team. We ran a massive effort to turn out Georgia voters in a county critical not just to @Carolyn4GA7 victory, but also to Joe Biden's likely win in Georgia.
Our campaign was powered by more than 100 organizers, fellows, and interns, who ran a first-of-its-kind voter turnout effort in Gwinnett and Forsyth counties, mobilizing Georgians to get to the polls.

In the final 4 days of the campaign alone, we made plans to vote with more than 3,000 voters & talked to more than 9,000 voters. In total, the campaign talked to more than 18,000 voters, over 12,000 of which voted early or by mail. https://twitter.com/ElisemMcGovern/status/1323469071564890114?s=20
Our campaign also ran a multilingual voter turnout effort, with volunteers and organizers having conversations with Georgia voters in Spanish, Korean, Mandarin, and Hindi.

On Monday night one of our volunteers made her final phone call to someone who only spoke Hindi. The volunteer reached out to a friend who spoke Hindi, & just 10 hours before the polls opened, they organized a bilingual phone call to turn out Hindi-speaking Georgians to vote!
. @Carolyn4GA7 centered her campaign on mobilizing our diverse communities. She held regular roundtables: South Asian Roundtable, Korean Roundtable, Chinese Roundtable, Divine Nine Roundtables Faith Leaders Roundtables and others-- that you can watch here: https://www.carolyn4congress.com/community
Pre-pandemic Carolyn went from mosques on Fridays, Synagogues on Saturdays, and Churches on Sunday. A year and a half ago-- my first week on Carolyn’s campaign I called a friend up and said “she’s an organizer.”
This team left it on the field and I am very proud of their work. #gapol
Looking forward to deploying our #GA07 field team for @Carolyn4GA7's friends @ReverendWarnock and @ossoff and continuing to watch the democratic infrastructure here grow.
