A friend of mine has a hot air balloon. He takes it up several times a month.
Lately, he's been experimenting with using different materials for weight, rather than traditional sand in the sandbags.
Last Tuesday for his flight, he used tightly packed oolong leaves in the bags. Unusual, yes, but they worked better than expected.
So much so, in fact, that during his flight, he kept having to cut them off so he could gain more height in his balloon.
He made note of where they fell, and I've been helping him round them up. They're fairly valuable, so we want to make sure he has them all.
So since Election Day, we've been counting absent tea ballasts.
