Bottom line: When a safe and effective #COVID19 vaccine is found, it must be for everyone, everywhere. @pfizer CEO has said he's looking for a "marginal profit" on the vaccine. That's out of step with much of the rest of the industry, which is promising sales at cost
President elect @JoeBiden has said everyone in America will get the vaccine for free unless the Trump administration convinces the Supreme Court to overturn the Affordable Care Act, which requires private insurers to cover vaccines. Those hearings are this week on November 10.
But @JoeBiden has yet to lay out a vision for how the US government under his leadership will shift course away from vaccine nationalism towards a more transparent & cooperative approach so all people around the world can get vaccinated at a cost affordable to them
