When that specific lesson was developed, there is a high probability that Mark Kelly was known only as the husband of a sitting congresswoman who nearly died in an assassination attempt. Even if the lesson was in development in Jan ‘19 when Kelly announced his run, 2/5
there is a higher probability that Nashville curriculum writers weren’t glued to Arizona TV to see it. By the time Kelly’s race became a flashy news-item, the book was beyond editing a photo of twin brothers who were astronauts, not pols.

The issue is Tom Buck took the photo as an opportunity to slander the content editor of the series. Grabbing a post-election tweet-photo of the editor’s brother with Joe Biden as proof of something, as well as her expression of relief in the election outcome, 4/5

When she saw it, she blocked her attacker, which any wise woman would have done. Buck took that as evidence of...something.
After being reported, Twitter removed two of Buck’s tweets as abusive, targeted, harassing. And they were.
