A century ago, 91 trees were planted in honor of WV veterans who gave their lives. Walking through that grove this morning using Clio to learn their story was powerful. #VeteransDay2020 1/2
The Cabell County WW1 walking tour was made by Ben Woodard as his Eagle Scout project. I’m using an AR test feature in @thecliodotcom we hope to release next month. 2/2
This history is personal, as a teacher, a veteran who served in Iraq, and as a resident of @huntingtoncity who lives near these trees. Working with students like Mr. Woodard is an honor and I know he’ll make us all proud.
