As a plea to funders, please consider giving more core support to organisations like ours. It allows us to retain teams and ensure work like this is produced at the time it is needed, and not many months later.
Support from @GoogleNewsInit allowed us to build our team this year and, as a result, we have been able to respond within a few days or weeks to some of the most critical moments vulnerable to misinformation. This early vaccine research is no exception.
As a final point, funding is rarely discussed in terms of investment, but the more core funding available, the higher the chances of non-profit orgs building the necessary foundations to eventually generate independent income streams in future.
