community dialogues, prioritizing conversations on DEI, yadda, yadda. these are stalling tactics. we need action plans, timelines. i'm sick of hearing about the bias trainings y'all are taking and the things you want to do but can't because of "austerity" (4/n)

now we've arrived at the Ombudsperson: an initiative that grad students spent over a decade campaigning for that is somehow being credited to faculty. anyways, here's a good place to remind folks to unionize ( @NorthwesternGW) because this system will never take care of us. (7/n)
finally, this nupd report is a response to students asking for a budget in June, being told they'd get in July, asking again in July, being told they'd get it that day. Asking for it for months, and now being told they'll get something that sounds a lot like copaganda.

wait, i'm back. where in @copsoutofNU demands did they ask for a "framework for dialogue"??? they said abolish nupd, sever ties with epd/cpd, divest from military agencies, and rgive us our things!! you think the 1st time you talk to them its going to be about a framework???
BACK AGAIN. Meeting with alumni before meeting with @copsoutofNU serves as yet another reminder that @NorthwesternU is a business that is more concerned with protecting its money than creating a safe learning environment for its students.
