Warning signs are things like 'this is no longer a pandemic'. That doesn't fit with the death toll around the world. That many countries health services are struggling with the number of cases. I thought the WHO called pandemics - medics who went into pathology working on AI. 2/n
Then the claim we have reached herd immunity. Clare for that to happen the infection would have had to been consistent across the UK. It hasn't been but then that's down to chance or actually mathematical modelling of super spreaders rather than just the R number. 3/n
If anywhere was going to have herd immunity it would be Sweden. Sorry that's not looking too good. My colleagues in Norway, Finland and Denmark are watching with horror. Though they too have suffered greatly. Colleagues in Budapest are under great pressure. 4/n
