Fostering dogs. A thread. We loved Mosty our dog. He loved us as much as he hated other dogs. So we couldnât ever have got another one. So we decided to help doggies get homes. If you have the room and the time please think about it.
Frankie came from a tough background. Probably domestic violence as he had a massive problem with me as the bloke in the house. He took a chunk out of my face once. Five months on we shook hands and he was rehomed with a man whoâd lost his wife. Theyâre best mates.
Lady. Stray doggy. Dead timid and nervous. She was only with us a few weeks. Went to a loving home and got taken care of.
Bailey Beagle. Lunatic. 9 months old. Traumatised us with his manic behaviour. He was rehomed after a few months. He did sniffer dog training and loved it. Totally changed him. Now he destroys less stuff and is slightly less deranged.
Teddo. Abandoned aged 8. Not one person wanted him so after 8 months we decided he should stay. Absolute legend and one of the most charismatic dogs you could ever meet. He went over the bridge in July and heâs sorely missed.
Zion hasnât had an easy life but heâs safe and sound now. Teaching him what itâs like to be a dog. He treats every walk, every toy, every cuddle like itâs the best Christmas present he could ever ask for.
Find your local rescue and if you can help them please do. Walking, donations, fundraising. It all makes a difference. And if you can take one in to rehabilitate them....youâll be doing a great thing.
