Over a few weeks I have watched as many different individuals in my Twittersphere have been targeted by one dangerous man.
I am sad to say that this man poses a very real, physical threat to users of Twitter. He's not a troll, he's a convicted danger to internet strangers!

Why am I saying he's dangerous?
There was this situation, where he took offence to a local chef for organising a Twitter hashtag local business hour, stalked him in real life, threatening to behead him:

The victim @StuartFCMI is still traumatised.

There was this one where he held a gun to someone's head.
Late on in the story it also talks about violence to his then girlfriend.
I won't keep posting crime after crime, as these two articles alone are enough for you to determine past behaviour.

It is fair to note that a man should have a chance to move on after a mistake, or a few...
History alone would not have spurred me to make this thread. Here's what did:
Lately, Sy has harassed, threatened, imitated or impersonated multiple Twitter folk.
Police are aware.

Given Sy's capacity for stalking & heavy violence, his many sock puppet accounts, and his recent targeting of multiple people who were minding their business, I'm honestly worried he's going to do real harm again soon.
I'd rather no one I care about became his next victim.

Many people have made these connections, documented them, supplied screenshots of abuse/blackmail/credible threats to @TwitterSupport, who I believe could & should ban him by IP address & device IDs for all our safety.
Twitter have not done so.

So it's with great regret I find myself advising you to preemptively block the usernames above.
I'd advise you to always contact police & Twitter if you are threatened, but sadly, this hasn't (yet?) protected Twitter users from risking Sy Hawkes escalating behaviour.

Also block @receiverofmoney, thought to be him, but even if it isn't, seriously that's not a good human, see the timeline, that's an account for doing blackmail.
