Just a few months ago, we were envy of the nation, and perhaps further abroad. We came one day short of a full incubation period with no new cases.

Today, we're the COVID capital of Canada. A rural city looked like something you'd watch on CNN. People bickering like children.
Not far from a misinformed, and frankly dangerous rally, the realities of the virus: a hospital at capacity, on the brink of being over run. The deadliest day of the outbreak, today was. Saving lives has devolved into a political shit show.
People rather listen to retired chiropractors, irresponsible reeves, and ignorant citizens instead of health-care professionals, the latter begging in droves simply for people to care about their neighbour, and the people working their asses off to keep people alive.
Masks aren't a political statement. It's a life-saving device. Your kids are fine. They aren't dropping dead in schools.

But plenty of seniors are.

Screw them, though, right? All for the inconvenience of a piece of cloth and having to spend some time at home.
Welcome to Team Manitoba.

The analytics suck, by the way. The losing streak keeps extending. And there's no No. 1 pick for tanking.

Just more of this shit.
I got nothing else.

I suspect someone will say I'm being unprofessional. To that, I say I'm simply a human being worried for others and my own family. COVID-19 would be a death sentence to both of my parents.
And if you don't know what it's like to watch a parent lifeless on ventilator, I'll tell ya: It ain't worth that party. It ain't worth that protest. It ain't worth bitching about a mask, or few weeks at home.

No. It fucking sucks.
Just have some basic human decency.

I don't have a better way to communicate that.

Just care about one another.

Good night.
