/7 The Building Safety fund have started rejecting claims for cavity barriers when not behind flammable cladding. Many will not receive funding for cavity barriers.

/7 Costs for other safety defects from negligent builds i.e. compartmentation, uncovered steel frames, cracked concrete frames are unjustly being legally forced into Leaseholders who don't even own the buildings.

/7 BSF applications to submit quotes, work schedules etc due 31 Dec 2020 work to start March 2021. The almost impossible time constraint means it will be difficult to research new products to ensure materials used are safe this time.

/7 Worryingly there have been no changes to Building Control regulations so we are being asked to face the same risk of a negligence sign off that we had last time. As EWS1 isn't a gov endorsed system we are not clear if we need both, one or other?

/7 The BSB in current form proposed Leaseholders be liable for historic and future costs. So we will be forced to pay for much of the remediation costs ourselves only for it to potentially fail at a later date forcing us through this again.

/7 Not only is there no justice in this, there is too much risk as surely accepting lisbility, and paying, now means we accept future costs. Presupposing of course a way to pay is found, unlikely in most cases. Damned if we do damned if we don't.

/7 @govuk do not appear to be truly trying to sort out building safety. What we see is a chaotic unworkable mess being forced into Leaseholders by shameless, unethical, deceitful and incompetent ministers bent on protecting their pals the developers.
