A thread:
Recent actions by the T**** admin, to purge the DOD right after losing the election has caused me to be on alert. I've tweeted before about the fact that I have lived by the AM General plant (red) for a total of 32 years and went to school next to it (blue and yellow).
They don't normally have inventory because they don't work like typical vehicle manufacturers. They make specialty military vehicles so it's not like they have a lot where you can go look at them and buy them. They go to military conventions to get contracts so they make
them to order, because civilians don't purchase them. In 2016 they were making Mercedes taxis for China. So, I, along with other family members found it strange when an ever growing inventory of humvees and trucks taking over the...
employee parking lot which is on the North side of the plant. I have no recollection of seeing anything like this. My step mom even said something about it, because she works nearby so she has watched this happen too. It's not normal, like everything else going on in the world
It's strange that they have so many vehicles out there like this, especially since they were usually kept behind the barriers on the south side in the purple area, these are in the green area. There's a place on the south side where you can catch a glimpse when you drive by...
but for the most part, they didn't keep stock on the property like this. If they were ordered by another country, why aren't they shipping them? They claim to have orders all over the world but they were recently bought out by a private equity firm called KPS.
In articles, I've found that they are making vehicles for other countries and supposedly have upcoming contracts to help the army maintain it's fleet and grow it by about 50,000 in 2021 and 2025, so these vehicles are not part of a future unpaid order.
So, I'm not sure who paid for these or why they put up fencing to protect an entire fleet of vehicles. It could be nothing, but I grow more worried by the day about this because of what T**** is doing now, it makes me REALLY wonder who bought them and what they are for because,
they definitely aren't for delivery 4 years from now. They are out there in the elements, and have been since they showed up starting in the summer of 2020. The lot has been growing too, like it's a stockpile. I'll be keeping an eye on this, for sure.
