I was always shy af and I remember when I was small I didn't know how to take compliments, so I often just said I sucked when people complimented my art
Big sis gently taught me that it's okay to accept compliments, and most importantly thank them for it! ^u^

I started telling myself not to diss on my art after, and it DOES make sense that instead of steppin all over your work, you can just humbly thank someone for appreciating something you've put your heart in.

I'd still feel flustered back then whenever I had to keep a smile and say thanks instead of "No my art sucks", but I figured there was really nothing wrong with it HAHAHA
Anyway, there will always be "room for improvement" for all of us, but that's what makes art fun, right?
