In this thread, i suggest 3 offensive minded midfielders who may help fix Arsenal’s lack of goals and creativity. And I’ve excluded the obvious ones Szobo, Aouar and Eriksen here.
The 3 players I’m suggesting are:-
-
Midfield Maestro
-
Dribble machine
-
Young Poacher

26 year old De Paul is my ideal choice to be our Messiah to lead us, fix us and be our own Bruno. Close to joining Leeds last summer, he would be a bargain for us for about 40+ million. He already has 22 apps for Argentina NT as well btw.
There is nothing De Paul can’t do actually. He is known as a long shot merchant and isn’t bad in creating chances either with 83 chances created and 17 big chances created (2nd highest in the league last season). He had a pass accuracy of 82% and he made 240 crosses (highest)
He is the ideal guy to solve our creative issues and make us a serious team. He can also score goals from midfield which we lack currently. He had 7Gs+6As last season, 9Gs+5As the season before that and he already has 2 goals and an assist this season.
He used to be a LW so he might’ve got more speed than any other midfielder which is a boost. He has got leadership as he is the vice-captain of Udinese and has captained them in many occasions. He is quite similar to Grealish imo. Both in playimg style and looks lol
.

23 year old Castrovilli enjoyed a standout campaign in his first season with Fiorentina last term. He isa CM who can play as a CAM who also loves to drift into the left side just like Aouar. He has started this season with 4 goals already
Known for his outrageous skills and dribbling prowess, he attempted 131 dribbles (2nd highest in Serie A) with 74% dribble success rate last season. He usually loves to spin, turn and do mad skills like sombreros and croquetas in each game he plays. He also has a good weak foot.
He might not be exactly what we need to solve our creative issues but his ball carrying ability to glide past defenders with ease is what we need. In our squad, Dani and Partey are the only ones who can do these but both play in deeper roles. He loves winning fouls which we lack

16 yr old Olmo left Barcelona in 2014 for Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb. He won the Croatian league player of the year in 2018 at just 20 years of age. He then helped Spain U-21s to win the U-21 Euros with 3 goals in the tournament (MOTM in Final)
He made his Spain NT debut in 2019 and he scored 3 minutes into his debut coming off the bench. He moved to Leipzig in January 2020 for 25 million and since he’s scored 3 Bundesliga goals. He has scored 9 goals in European competitions in total.
He loves to get in the end of moves and hence he has that knack of scoring goals despite being a midfielder. This attribute makes him similar to Van de Beek. Another key strength he possesses is his versatility since he can play as a 8, 10, False-9 and on either wings.
