Why PM Modi’s ban on Chinese apps is way more resounding than it seems. DON’T MISS!
First some highlights from this article.

Club Factory was hitting the top of India’s download charts which is why it was looking at increasing business.
A note to CF from our government simply said it would be removed from Google and Apple’s app stores. Our telecom companies soon blocked its domain name.

CF sent a letter to the government saying it had invested ₹650 cr in India to set up infrastructure for e-commerce. But he NEVER HEARD BACK.
India was CF’s only market and its orders dropped from $100m to ZERO. In China, it laid off half its staff and more than 300 workers.

CF received a list of questions from our government: What services does your app provide? What is your privacy policy? Who are the owners? Where are your servers located?
Meanwhile the Chinese government said it couldn’t do anything about it.

Now some crisp highlights from this example:
1) CCP is unable to counter India’s economic assaults
2) Chinese economy is being directly hit
3) Chinese businesses will shy away from India
4) Indian tech ventures and other businesses will benefit in the long run

5) China’s dumping of goods will further reduce
6) Narendra Modi is working with a steely resolve against China unseen anywhere
Lastly — and this is the most important takeaway: China does NOT wield the kind of influence in India that it does elsewhere, especially America.

Now an example from America to put things in perspective. It has been taken from Robert Spalding’s book ‘Stealth War.’
RJ, a 49-year-old man, worked at the customer-engagement center of Marriott International, Nebraska.
RJ, a 49-year-old man, worked at the customer-engagement center of Marriott International, Nebraska.
In January 2018, he saw on Twitter that a Tibetan Independence Group had cited Marriott for listing Tibet as separate from China in a survey. RJ liked the tweet using Marriott’s official Rewards account.
Even though Twitter is banned in China, someone had been monitoring the feed and he noticed that the survey from Marriott could’ve implied that Tibet was a separate nation and that Marriott had liked the tweet as well.
The Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration was alerted. It contacted Marriott authorities and ‘ordered’ the company to publicly apologise and ‘deal’ with the people responsible.
RJ was FIRED.

The reason why I’ve cited this example is to show the sheer influence China wields in America. This is also why I say it is reasonable and logical to not expect any great reprisals from America against China no matter who the President.
There is no greater show of clout than a nation being able to fire a citizen in another nation. If an ordinary citizen isn’t safe due to the political and revisionist ideas of a political party far away, how can big corporations and armed forces that actually threaten be safe?
In this context one can see how India has evaded China’s inevitably rising clout in our affairs. And this is due to the bravery of our soldiers at Galwan and the presence of a truly nationalist government at the center that aims to deal with China in a comprehensive fashion
