Because our natural lives are supposed to include love and community, activities, ad events that result in regular and daily dopamine production.
For those of us who are highly and divinely connected, we unfortunately need more.

So those sources need to exist, various sources, on the daily, for there to be a production of dopamine - a biological chemical that is very very important.
So the lonelier folks feel?
The more they "abuse" things for dopamine.

So if you know someone who's got "issues" with addiction (society having issues with them more than anything), don't worry! Just keep them company and give them love.
This is all anyone needs.

I noticed this past week, speaking to various friends but especially that now I am connecting with people every day, I am feeling better. I am requiring less alternate sources to stimulate dopamine.
Being in a positive, high vibratory environment and being able to get plenty of fresh air is so important.
But mostly? It is about an environment filled with love.

I will drink and smoke every day. Wine, capuccinos, whatever.
When I get bored with that I will find something else 100.
