Just got around to reading this ridiculous column by Danielle Smith and I've just got to ask what planet do these fucking people come from? //a short thread
She asserts that Kenney's recently introduced restrictions (the ones that allow everybody to continuing behaving exactly as they are) are extreme. She laments not being able to go over to her cohorts' place for drinks.

Her recommendations include hurry up with private hospitals to relieve the pressure on public hospitals. She ignores that there are not enough staff to staff the hospitals we've got right now but she makes more ridiculous assertions in her other recommendations so let's move on.
"Use hotels for long-term care."
This one just makes me stare at my screen for a long, long time. Who will care for these people? The hotel staff? Does she think that workers in long term care facilities are essentially room service?
