I see the SNP have elected TERFs to the positions of Women's Convener and Equalities Convener on the NEC. Commiserations to Rhiannon Spear and Fiona Robertson, who have done excellent jobs only to be replaced by hate.
Good luck getting anything on GRA reform past this fucking bunch of chancers, and good luck getting anything done about the transphobia rife in the party. This is spitting in the faces of every trans SNP member and voter.

I am so tired of being disappointed. I'm so tired of seeing good people pour in work, effort, their very selves... only to have it thrown in their faces. I'm so tired of the people at top showing no support, not taking a side between justice and bigotry. I'm tired, @theSNP.
Fun after-effect: being described as factional by people who set up a literal faction with voting lists, motivated by a mix of disdain for trans people and support for a former party leader who engaged in appalling behaviour towards women.

I need more to have any faith in the SNP, rather than in some of the individuals in it, but... it's a start to undoing the damage the SNP has done, consistently, to my faith in it.
