Ontario has released more detailed data. Retail has only been linked to a handful of cases since the beginning -- and these include employees, not just the public.
Likewise, the "bar, restaurants and nightclub" category was hardly found to be responsible for any significant spread. And that's lumping restaurants in with nightclubs.
Now public health officials & lockdown advocates will rush to tell you there are many "unknown" cases, hence why they advocate shutting down entire sectors w/o actual data. But it's up to the public (and those sectors) as to whether or not they're willing to accept such logic.
