As there is so much uncertainty with fixtures being called off. I feel having 2 playing keepers is the best way of play.
You can rotate on better fixtures
If a player is injured/ill you can bench one of them
Also frees up that wasted Villa asset

You donât want to pay no more than 4.8 for another keeper if there is rotation. So Iâve narrowed it down to the 3 best keepers to rotate with Martinez:
Meslier
Johnstone
McCarthy

Meslier - Been great for Leeds this season and has a mixed bag of fixtures; che, WHU, NEW, mun, BUR. It also means you have him playing vs Chelsea as that replacement game for Martinez and in GW17. Leeds play Spurs and Villa play Man United...

Leeds have conceded 17 goals. The joint 3rd worst in the league. Also being the 4th worst for xGA. Leeds do get away with it as they control matches but have a tough run of games.

Johnstone - Has made the joint most saves this season. I donât see many clean sheets for the rest of the season. Conceding 18 goals. 2nd worst in the league. xGA also being the worst of 21.35.

Southampton have conceded a lot more goals than they should have. Conceding 16. xGA suggests otherwise with 13.13. Meaning they have over conceded!

They have shown they are a top side and have been very solid defensively. Since the 5-2 loss to Spurs. They have kept 4 clean sheets from their last 8 games. A huge improvement.

MY VERDICT
Iâm going with McCarthy as Southampton are very solid now. Have a good run of games too.
Reason I wonât go with Meslier is because I already own Ayling.
Reason I wonât go with Johnstone is because West Brom are a good team to target for captaincy!
