MÜJGAN💫

I think it's essential for all of us to understand Müjgan in order to give a sense to her death.

Müjgan is the first child of a family but she was a girl. She was educated to raise, care, feed and protect the people in the house.

Her duty was not to study, not to earn money, not getting married and having an heir, she was educated to serve the people in that house. As a teenager she became the mother of a child who was not hers for more than 40 years.

#DoğduğunEvKaderindir
She served so much that she dedicated her whole life to her family; she cleaned, she cooked, she took care of her mother's health and medicines and was ready to take care of her "son's" children. No life for her. No dreams for her.

If Müjgan was for all intents and purposes and recognized by all, Mehdi's mother, if she even raised her friend Nuh, why was it Meliha who decided the marriage? Zeynep, a woman Mehdi didn't love, a woman who won't serve, who won't dedicate her life to him.

#DoğduğunEvKaderindir
A woman who didn't love or even want her Mehdi. That definition of a woman was never in Müjgan's dictionary. That was not a wife, that was not a mother. But since Zeliha wanted her, Müjgan had to accept her in her house,

#DoğduğunEvKaderindirir
Under her roof. The roof of her father. A drunken and violent man, a submissive woman and a wife who does not love her brother. Mehdi wanted it. Zeliha wanted it. Again Müjgan had no choice.

#DoğduğunEvKaderindir
But Müjgan is not submissive, she didn't accept that situation and she tried to stop it. It was Mehdi, his son, and last word was his. She used the most harmful and despicable psychological tactics to get rid of that girl. Even urged him to commit a crime

#DoğduğunEvKaderindir
Müjgan was inhuman with that girl and insensible with her brother. As ready as she was to fight Bayram when because of him Mehdi almost died, she was ready to fight Zeynep to make sure he has a happy life.

#DoğduğunEvKaderindir
Müjgan once had a dream. A dream with a man. A man she loved. She dreamed of a life with him. He dreamed of a life with her. But his father was the killer of her father. Müj didn't held a grudge for it but Mehdi did. She had to choose but she had no choice

#DoğduğunEvKaderindir
Burhan was her dream but Mehdi was her duty. Müjgan never felt with the right to have a life in which she was the one who lived to accomplish her own dreams. She felt responsable for Mehdi's actions. Mehdi almost killed Burhan and she punished herself.

#DoğduğunEvKaderindir
Her whole life was a sacrifice for others. Why did she had to sacrifice herself and the rest didn't? Why did everyone had a life but her? She saw the injustice but she didn't revel.

#DoğduğunEvKaderindir
"When Mehdi was born and you put him in my arms, I was in elementary school mom. I was a little kid. When I went to highschool you told me: Mehdi is very little, you can't. It can't be, let's get you out of school."

#DoğduğunEvKaderindir
"Even when Cemile got married you said: Müjgan don't think about it, you can't marry, there is Mehdi. I have a heart diseas, who will take care of him? You turned me into the maidservant of this house mom"

#DoğduğunEvKaderindir
"Mehdi is your son, you can't be a child you can't go out, you can't get married. I was a mother. So why am I a sister now? Why have you become now Mehdi's mother, mom?"

#DoğduğunEvKaderindir
Life was so unfair to Müjgan, everyone was so unfair to Müjgan, that when the man she loved pointed her with a gun and killed her she did nothing but surrender.

#DoğduğunEvKaderindir
Isn't Müjgan a person we could all empathize with? Even if we are aware of how wrong she did, I think we could all notice that Müjgan was a woman marked by her education who never took the reins of her life to change her future.
