Real talk for a moment: When this pandemic is over, let's get one thing straight. Contrary to what the UCP might think, I'm not a babysitter. I'm a teacher.
I should simply *be given* the conditions to properly educate children. Yes. That's right. I *want* the conditions. (1/6)

I/we shouldn't have to wave magical arms to make it happen. We possess the knowledge, skills, and expertise and when we mix that with the right learning resources, that's when everything comes together.
This pandemic has taught me one thing. (2/6)

It taught me that conservatives (both elected officials and supporters - you're all one in the same) view us as babysitters who are not worthy of being given safe working conditions even in the middle of a pandemic, which is astonishingly low of them. (3/6)
How do I know? AHS has no idea how many staff/students are in isolation. We were accused of being "hysterical" back in August/September when we predicted this would happen under scenario 1 conditions. The NDP was right that things would get out of control. Full stop. (4/6)
So, it was always about the babysitting to the UCP. It isn't about student safety, or staff safety, or family safety.
But I'm done with reasoning. When this is over, I *want* the proper teaching conditions to get the job done. I'm a teacher, not a babysitter. (5/6)

And yes, I should simply *be given* what I need to do my job. So, attack me, UCP supporters. Tell me how little respect I have for our province's debt, because honestly, we can afford it if we can blow billions on pipelines, war rooms, and panels that do nothing.
