My Opinions on the Spriggan 12

Honestly this villain group is my personal favorite of the villains in Fairy Tail. While the Oracion Seis are more well received, I found these more enjoyable to watch. And I feel as if people tend to under appreciate them at least to me

This mainly because of a few things-

For starters, I feel like people were expecting waaaay too much to these characters mainly because of other teams like the Oracion Seis and the Seven Kin of Purgatory. And that what I’ve heard is that they “feel thrown together” when in reality, their goal has always been there-

To Serve their Emperor and fight for their empire.

Now with that being said, I’m gonna be giving my opinion on each member based on what I thought about them. And Im gonna do certain characters at a random order so here we go

MASSIVE SPOILERS AHEAD

First off I’m gonna start with

Brandish Myu- I absolutely love her, from her connection with Lucy, to her personality and her absolutely broken magic, she was so enjoyable to watch and I ended up caring for her a lot by the end

And the fact she’s in 100 years Quest says it all

Ajeel Raml- I enjoyed him for the most part. His sand magic was deadly and his personality was really fun to watch. His relationship with his Grandfather was really nice to see, and I love that they have him as King of Alvarez in 100 years quest was really cool to see more of him

Neinhart- this is one of those characters where I find him...... average tbh. I love his magic (as messed up as it was) and his design, but aside from that, I really can’t say much for him. Him manipulating Kagura with Simon pissed me off too

Overall, kinda boring but not awful

Invel Yura- sigh and this is where we truly get to redefine the idea of BORING

There is nothing interesting about him at all. He’s literally nothing more than another Ice Wizard with even less interesting abilities

And coupled with the fact that he accomplished nothing. LAME!!

God Serena- time for the most controversial opinion on this thread:
His death was perfect

The character himself however was okay for the most part and is pretty much an arrogant jackass

But I seriously love how he died like a dog who bit off more than he could chew. I loved it.

Wall Eehto- I love this guy. I really do love this guy. I always wondered how Fairy Tail could possibly have cyborgs in its universe given the Magic and Technology within it. An man did they do it in such an interesting way that it was fun to watch him go!

I enjoyed him a lot

Bloodman- probably the most misunderstood character out of them all by most people. I absolutely loved this guy. The concept of him itself is mad interesting and has me HOOKED! LOVED HIM!

He’s one of the characters where I honestly didn’t care if he doesn’t have a backstory

Jacob Lessio- otherwise known as “Jason Statham Anime Version” XD but in all seriousness he’s only okay. His assassination Magic is really cool but that’s really about it.

Although I did love how he pretty much embodies people that are “Anti Fan Service” in spectacular fashion!

Larcade Dragneel- he’s WEIRD XD! But in a way that makes him really interesting and... kinda scary considering his magic

When he said that “him, Irene and August aren’t like the rest” I believe him, because he seems to be overly powerful in a way that’s different from the others

-Also his ending is quite sad in regards between him and his “father”

Dimaria Yesta- if there ever was a character that embodied “underrated” it would be this Queen because my GOD do I hate how underrated and under appreciated this character is. It’s almost insulting

“Oh BuT sHe LoSt To WeNdY aNd NaTsU” if that’s what you focused on, then your-

-Priorities were in the wrong place because this character has so much going for her. Between her relationship with Brandish, to her freaking awesome magic!

Being able to stop time is mad terrifying. She can literally take your life in a blink of an eye

Also- God Soul. 10/10!!

All and all Dimaria is a character that I feel like is completely and criminally under appreciated out of all the 12.

And I wish we got to see her go on adventures with Brandish in 100 years quest, but we never will and I will CONTINUE TO BE PISSED OFF ABOUT IT. END OF STORY

Irene Belserion- I..... like her, but that’s about it. Her backstory is so sad and tragic that by the end I felt more bad for her than angry at her

Her fight with Erza was amazing and added so much to her and her Daughter Erza. I cannot wait to see more of her in 100 years quest

- also I really do enjoy the fact that even after all of what she went through and how much she talks about how much she hated Erza and that she wanted to kill her, still couldn’t do it as she truly loved her and cared for her like a caring mother

Unlike a certain Erza hater

August- and now we’ve come to my ABSOLUTE favorite member of the Spriggan 12. This guy is the living embodiment of a tragedy. All this man wanted was to be loved by his mother and for his father to notice him. So he gave every moment in his life to his family to no avail and when

He’s just about to give it his all, it took one look of his mother for him to forfeit his life

“I wish I could have at least once...... just once.......... been able to hug you.”

God I love this guy. And I haven’t even talked about how awesome he is! And his magic is NUTS!

Alright. That’s all I’ve got for my Spriggan 12 thread.

I wish I could’ve explained myself in regards to some more but I just wanted to give my thoughts

I hope you liked my opinions on them all. While some were a bit hit or Miss, I really do enjoy this group a LOT!
