Cross-sex hormones, medical transition is permanent, period! I have nothing female inside my body to produce estrogen; I have to supplement my body with hormones for the rest of my life to remain healthy. At some point, a person has to accept what is and I have done that.
I am sorry if it does not speak for whatever you are trying to promote. Remember, real people are on the other side of your digs, and if you believe they don’t hurt, you are crazy.
You cannot say that hormone blocker and hormones are permanent and on the other hand require me to act as if they do not and detransition to become a question mark for everyone that passes me on the street to think, “Is that a boy or a girl.”
If someone takes opposite hormones for any length of time it changes the organic composition of a body, never to return to who they were. No matter how much I remove testosterone from my body and replace it with estrogen, it won’t change the fact that now I will ALWAYS look male.
This is a decision that I made that cannot be undone.
I have accepted this, and I celebrate the good that comes from this decision and forgive the bad as the fact that human = never being perfect and mistakes are a part of life. I ask that you embrace that with me as well.

If you can’t step back and see the power in what I just said as a tool to save young people from making decisions, they do not understand, and what the medical field and organizations like mermaids are not telling parents I have lost hope for you.
But, if you can step back and see the finality of the decision to medically transition as a tool to help others misstep I applaud you. No decision is ever cast in all success or all failure.
Stop hounding me to be something you need me to be to elevate me to be able to say, “I told you so.” I have my mountains to climb in life with my decision just as people who detransintion. Decisions are not covered in all butterflies or filth. This is what it is to be human.
