5/ More preparations
- Run a full node by @getumbrel, @RaspiBlitz (or both 😜) or have 1TB SSD standby
- Buy a @COLDCARDwallet and @usbCOLDPOWER by @Coinkite anonymously (*1). Get 3 SD-cards + micro USB-cable + 9 V battery
- Buy Stamp Set, Steel Washers, Wingnuts and Bolt (*2)
6/ Fine tuning preparations
- Use a dice from 'Mens-Erger-Je-Niet'
- Get 2 bananas
- Make a lot of coffee and use a large cup.
- Play Heavy Metal provided by @KINKpuntnl

7/ Setting up the @COLDCARDwallet for first use.
- check bag and compare codes in+on the bag and after accepting the terms with the code in the screen
- >Advanced ✅> Upgrade firmware ✅ >Show version
- Upgrade if necessary
- Use to verify (*1) Linux (hard) or (*2) Win10 (easy)

- >Choose PIN code ✅
- Continue creating the prefix, the Code Words and the suffix
- Write it down on the Wallet Backup Card with a pencil
- See (*2) Now choose >Import Existing ✅ and >Dice Rolls ✅ to create a seed not made by the coldcard it self but by change (entropy)
9/
- after at least 100 dice rolls press ✅
- write down the 24 words in that order and double check press ✅
- Do the test
- You can add a passphrase to the seed words in >Passphrase ✅ read and scroll down.
- I will not add a passphrase but split the seed words in 2 groups.
10/ Now hammer those 24 in steel (see (*2)) and double check every word and corresponding number. If you added a passphrase, add 2 more washers. Its is now resisted against water, heat, external force like @econoalchemist is demonstrating. https://twitter.com/i/status/1329273668271177729

- Download Specter and @torproject -browser and verify the files like shown before.
- Install both and open umbrel.local in a normal brower like @firefox and login.

Adding a wallet and doing a first transaction receiving and sending is crucial before sending about more funds. Follow (*3).

- verify your 24 words by using Python. See (*2) Advanced users only.
