Why the narrative that Steph Curry cannot carry teams without multiple All-Starts is false thread:
1. 2013 Playoffs, the Warriors finished with 47 Wins and the 6th seed as they would face the 3rd seeded nuggets in the 1st Round, They surprised some...
2. The Warriors would end up taking the series in 6 Games including winning Games 2-4 and moving on to the 2nd round
Currys stats vs Denver:

24.3 PPG
4.3 RPG
9.3 APG
2.2 STLS

46.8 FG%
44 3P%
100 FT% on 21 Attempts
4. In the 2nd round the Underdog Warriors would face the 58 Win 2nd seeded Spurs with no expectations to win the series
5. The Warriors would lose, but not without a fight, they push the series 6 Games vs the eventual WCF Champions
Curry’s stats for that series:

22.5 PPG
3.3 RPG
6.8 APG
1.2 STLS

40.5 FG%
35.2 3P%
Curry in the 2013 playoffs:

23.4 PPG
3.8 RPG
8.1 APG
1.7 STLS

43 FG%
39.6 3P%
92.1 FT%
6. Also, in the 2015 Finals after going down 2-1, Curry won 3 straight to win the series
In Games 4-6, Curry did this

28 PPG
5 RPG
6.3 APG
2 STLS

49.2 FG%
45.2 3P%

Robbed of a Finals MVP also 😪
7. The 2019 Playoffs should be another example of Curry’s excellence on the Court as well
Without KD for Game 6 of the WCSF, Houston had an opening to beat the Warriors without arguably their best player. But Curry had other plans.....
In Game 6, Curry tallied 33 points, 5 Boards, and 4 assists along with 23 Points in the 4th quarter of the game after starting the game 0-5 in the first half. And did this without KD
I didn’t want to make a super long thread because there are more examples of Curry proving he can Carry if needed such as 2014 and 2015, but the narrative that curry can’t be the best player on a title team is false and misleading.
That’s the thread! Likes and RT’s would be appreciated 🥰
