Data is at the heart of our vision for the future of planning, and the strategy sets out our five year goals to deliver on this mission

Our 5 year goals show how important it is to unlock the value of planning data, and to utilise it for data-driven policy making.

Unlocking the value of data will be key to realising an open and smart planning system 📊🖥️
Alongside our five year goals we’ll be delivering a number of priority actions over the next two years.

We’ve already started exploring how geospatial data can be harnessed to drive forward and support policy-making, and even support the Scottish Government’s response to COVID-19
