Wokeness/SJW-ism is not just some mildly irritating fad to make fun of. It's actually a genuine threat. If you ask me it's the biggest threat to modern civilization (along with the post modernism it's based on).
The parallels to the Khmer Rouge, Rwandan Genocide and Mao's Cultural Revolution are way too disconcerting.

I don't think the left has truly been held accountable for its role in the atrocities of the 20th century. Most people are largely ignorant about this and they still get a free pass based on their motte and bailey arguments.
And that's why The Gulag Archipelago and 1984 need to be required reading. People should be instantly skeptical of moral busibodies appointing themselves champions of the "oppressed". Post modernism and by extension wokeness must be nipped in the bud before it can really grow.
People trying to divide and control others for the "common good" rarely ever have good intentions or outcomes in mind. Even if they do, they are irrelevant.
