Here's what happened in #AbLeg while we were reacting to #COVID lockdown:
@jkenney and @Alberta_UCP removed mental health supports from gvt coverage. What this means: Healthcare workers who are showing signs of PTSD are no longer covered... the people who are taking care of you.
The final payments for the energy sector corp payout was confirmed. What this means: Tax dollars supporting an industry that promised jobs but have since pulled out of Alberta. Unemployed? Use your time to speak up to your MLA and remember this at the polls.
Insurance rules have changed. Not only was the cap lifted earlier this year they have now paved the way for No Fault Insurance and for Insurance companies to pull your driving behaviour data. What this means: If you are in an accident you can't hold the other party accountable.
It is everyone's job to hold their gvt accountable. If you voted for @Alberta_UCP then you should ask them to uphold democratic process and allow for debate and question period to get opposition voices on record. Democracy is gvt for the ppl by the ppl. Hold them accountable.
