Yorkshire Post was produced from the heart of the town.
13 miscellaneous buildings on a constrained site ripe for large-scale redevelopment meant a decision to move to purpose-built premises on the west side of town. 2/7

Park Mills lasted well beyond Gott’s own lifetime but was demolished in 1965, leaving a vacant site suitable for the expanded Yorkshire Post operations, with its giant new Goss press. 3/7
Yorkshire Post moved from Albion Street in 1970 to new buildings in ‘beton brut’ – raw concrete.
Printing moved to other Yorkshire locations and remaining staff moved to nearby Whitehall Road. 4/7

English Heritage refused to list it.
