IN THE TTRPG, they flat-out say that Night City is a very vain, visually-oriented place, that's LITERALLY why one of the stats is Cool, and one of your skills is Grooming. People in Night City have their preferences, sure, but most only care if you're hot or a total badass
The "Exotic" augmentations (detailed in Chrome Book 2), literally add inclusivity to furries and fantasy larpers.

Corporations, both real and imagined, are best represented when they do ANYTHING to sell a product. Why else do they wave African colors during Black History Month, or LGBT flags during Pride Month, only to go right back when it's over?

If someone's ONLY selling point is "I have THIS title!", then they need to go back to the drawing board and sort their shit.
A bundle of Cyberpunk-themed games is awesome, but they should stand on their OWN merit, not "(Insert ethnicity) made this game, so you HAVE TO buy it!"
