Needing everything to be broken down specifically so you can see how it applies to YOU, personally, is a lack intellectual curiosity.

I just liked LEARNING shit in school. It didn't need to "have anything to do with me."
Perhaps where something's missing is inductive and deductive reasoning.

Because if you learn about everything and you know how to reason, you'll get where/how what you learned in school applies to "real life."

The world is bigger than you.

And that lack of care in what's outside of ourselves is why a damn public health crisis is ravaging the country right now.
AND learning a little something about everything humbles you because you also know WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW.
