So sad. My dad and I kept our season tickets in the same spot since 2004. UV 42, Row 22, Seats 1 & 2. Our first season we were surrounded by only Chargers fans. After that first good year, most people upgraded their seats and ticket brokers swooped in.

We rarely sat in our seats after that. We always walked to to the top which we ended up loving. Being able to stand and move around with all that energy.

We started our Tailgating at D4 when tailgating was 5 hrs and $5. When they took away an hour from us, we then moved to
3/
pre-paid parking at C3 for multiple years so we could have 5 hours again. That final season we moved to underneath the trolley and I wish we had been there all of our time because the shade from the trolley was great. In 2017 we tailgated in Lot 13 and in 2018, moved to

Thunder Alley.

It's sad to see the stadium being demolished. I may even shed a tear when I see the area we stood in demolished on one of these videos. So crazy to think we spent countless years standing up there going through different Chargers emotions. the 2004 Kaeding
5/

missed kick. The 2006 Patriots loss, which was the only game I ever cried at at 16 years old. The 2008 playoff game where we all heard Jamal the Wall Williams say, "Game Over" after winning the coin toss ( ) to the epic, spooky feeling of the entire
6/

stadium singing the Chargers Anthem with a foggy field during the commercial break leading into overtime ( ). That was the best game ever. Then games like the 2009 Bengals win ( )
7/

to the 2013 magical day where everything worked in our favor to make the playoffs. 2015 & 2016 felt like there was a dark cloud over the whole stadium and environment with the ineptness between the city & Spanos, but we were still there for every game including that pathetic
8/

Raiders game in 2016 when they took over our stadium completely. I understand 2015 and 2016 to an extent but I hated how bandwagon our fans were when we weren't having an amazing season. Anyways, I digress. When I see our section we used to stand in on these videos, it's
9/

almost like I can envision our past selves being up there like ghost racers in a racing video game.

Seeing the round-abouts being destroyed is heart breaking too. I remember so many good times, and rough time, walking down those in circles. Everyone cheering and echoing
10/

after a win or being harassed by asshole San Diego born and raised Steeler/Raider/etc fans.

I understand the reason for the move. The team would have been stuck in a city that is inept and would have had no leverage since the Raiders would have moved to LA. It sucks it
11/

had to happen but it is what it is. We kept our season tickets and spent 3 great years at the StubHub Center in Section 319. Looking forward to the new stadium next season. The memories from Qualcomm and the countless years spending with my dad and then eventually the
12/

rest of our family, will never be lost. We never sold one ticket and I only missed two home games, the Chiefs in 2006 (Flu) and the Browns in 2015 (Honeymoon in Jamaica. I still watched it there on my phone!).

I really wish the Qualcomm seats weren't so expensive because
13/

I would buy two and put it in my backyard around the area we watch most the games now.

So many memories and it all started in the offseason leading up to 2004 when I asked me dad if we could go to all the Chargers games.

Damn this video got me going. Sorry guys.
