So when considering a potential husband, I encourage and implore you:

Don’t test him against one of the countless definitions of biblical manhood.
Test him against Christ.
He ought to be an image of Him, counting himself no more highly than he ought, but laying down his life for you and the church.

Let the full revelation of scripture be your plumb line, not what is trending in culture or even potentially the church of this era.
