2/America that they want to protect. I’m 43 and was aware enough of Ronald Reagan’s speeches to know that he didn’t care about us when I was a child. I’ve grown up in the America that was heading towards Trump. The Tea Party. Rush. Fox News. These things
3/ were greasing the skids for white folks to believe, en masse, that if things aren’t going their way then someone must be stealing something from them while telling the rest of us that if things weren’t going well for us it was our fault. Now you’ve backed yourselves into
4/ a corner and somehow now it’s a crisis for those of us who have known you were peddling bullshit all along. When the main theme was disenfranchising and blaming us it was “just politics” but now that you are without a home it’s time for us all to join hands?
5/ The @gop wanted this. They sanctioned it. If you want to fix it then build a new platform. Disavow everything. The racism. The sexism. The selfishness. The greed. That is soul of the party. You need a a cleansing, not just a deathbed apology and plea for unity.
