Okay, so here's my thinking. (thanks @IrisBlackWriter for inspirational imagery) I think LWJ, rather than giving up control, wants to have control taken away from him.
Teen LWJ had some thoughts about *large* NMJ was, how it would feel to be underneath him.

With WWX, he knows, it's different. WWX teases, but he always give into LWJ willingly. LWJ knows he would need someone to push, to feel that the person he was submitting to was someone against whom he was powerless.
And that's... not really WWX.
And that's... not really WWX.
If he asked WWX to hold him down and not let him escape, he's afraid he might hurt him.
So, he's happy enough to give WWX what he wants, to let WWX enjoy his strength. WWX doesn't need that, particularly, he's happy enough to yield because he *wants* to.

Cut to: WWX, with 20 feet of rope, LWJ tied up in a hogtie. "Struggle all you want, Lan er-ge, I've designed this with your strength in mind."
LWJ does. Using all his strength against the rope, against *himself*, feels like something inside him breaking open.

He loses track of time, which he never does, and when he comes to himself, he's panting, mouth dry, and he's rolled across the floor, fallen on his side. He feels the strain in his arms, in his back and legs, where he's been pulling.
"Good," says WWX.
"Good," says WWX.
Later, LWJ will think, maybe he was talking about the rope. Maybe he was evaluating his own work and how it withstood LWJ's efforts. But in that moment, that's not what he hears.
He whines.
WWX comes closer, and just. *manhandles him*. Rolls him closer.
