this stage was autoflagged by an algorithm and has proven to be the exception to the rule with many more trans flag stages being up

shit still sucks because algorithms are imperfect but this framing of it being a deliberate choice by nintendo is super malicious and dishonest
as a bit of pessimistic speculation i'd imagine a screenshot was used either out of laziness or because articles about the subject were later edited so as not to spread the misinformation
now this isn't to defend nintendo of course
