Dear @FelixirofLife28 even though you are right that children with VSDs should not be subjected to medical & surgical interventions, conflating our bodies with trans identities leads to erasure of our needs & concerns & even loss of funding to our groups
Labelling babies as intersex, which implies neither male or female - or even queer bodied, is likely to increase the risk of children being subjected to medical & surgical interventions - far better to normalise & say that it is OK for boys & girls to have variations
It is frequently the same medics involved in both children with VSDs as well as young people with gender dysphoria & most vital is that an evidence based approach & do no harm is prioritised over ideology
